We supply and install Ruijie enterprise switches, Reyee cloud-managed WiFi access points, and Ruijie EG routers across Dubai and the UAE — enterprise-grade network performance at a significantly lower cost per port than Cisco or HPE, backed by a cloud management platform that simplifies deployment and ongoing management.
Ruijie Networks (a subsidiary of Ruijie-Reyee, part of Fujian Ruijie Network Technology) has established a strong presence in the UAE and broader Middle East market as a viable alternative to Cisco, HPE Aruba, and Juniper for enterprise-grade core and distribution switching, campus WiFi, and edge routing. Ruijie hardware meets IEEE standards and supports the full suite of enterprise switching protocols — OSPF, BGP, MSTP, VLAN, QoS, PoE — that enterprise networks require, at hardware prices typically 30–50% below equivalent Cisco Catalyst or HPE Aruba deployments.
For Dubai businesses that need enterprise networking capability but face budget constraints that make Cisco pricing prohibitive, Ruijie represents a serious, supportable, and increasingly common alternative — particularly in hospitality, education, retail, and mid-market commercial environments where a fully managed WiFi and switching infrastructure is necessary but Cisco-level investment cannot be justified.
RG-S1910-24GT4SFP (24-port access), RG-S5300 (Layer 3 distribution), RG-S6000 (core) — full range of enterprise managed switches supporting 802.1Q VLANs, MSTP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, and PoE+. RG-S2900 series for basic managed access layer. SNMP manageable, RMON-supported. The enterprise alternative for organisations that need managed switching but cannot absorb Cisco Catalyst SX pricing on every floor.
RG-RAP2260/2266 (Wi-Fi 6, dual-band), RG-RAP6262 (Wi-Fi 6 tri-band), RG-RAP1261 (ceiling AP, Wi-Fi 5) — Reyee APs managed via free Ruijie Cloud (Reyee Cloud) platform with zero-touch provisioning. No dedicated on-premise controller hardware required. SSIDs, VLANs, power settings, and channel assignment managed from a single cloud dashboard. Suitable for hospitality, retail, education, and SMB deployments where a controller appliance adds unnecessary cost and complexity.
Ruijie EG routers (EG210G, EG3250, EG3260) — multi-WAN enterprise gateway routers with load balancing, failover between ISPs, NAT, DHCP, ACL, and VPN (IPsec/L2TP/PPTP). Built-in bandwidth management and application-aware QoS. Managed through Ruijie Cloud alongside the WiFi infrastructure, giving a single management platform for routing, switching, and wireless. Common deployment: Ruijie EG router → Ruijie core switch → Reyee APs, all managed from the same Ruijie Cloud dashboard.
Ruijie Cloud is the free centralised management platform for Reyee and Ruijie devices. Zero-touch provisioning — devices auto-register to the cloud when connected to the internet. Remote configuration push for firmware updates, SSID changes, VLAN modifications. Network topology view. Client count and traffic statistics per AP and per SSID. Multi-site management from one account — suitable for retail chains, education campuses, or hospitality groups with multiple properties across Dubai.
Ruijie RG-ES210GS-P and RG-S1960 series PoE+ switches delivering 802.3af/at power to IP cameras, VoIP phones, and WiFi access points — eliminating the need for separate power adapters at each device. Up to 48 PoE ports per switch with 370W–750W PoE budgets. The most common use case in Dubai: one Ruijie PoE switch powering all IP cameras in a floor or building, directly connected to the NVR.
Ruijie NBR1020G and NBR3000G next-generation firewall/gateway appliances with intrusion prevention, URL filtering, anti-virus, and application control. Centrally managed via Ruijie Cloud. Suitable for organisations that need a Fortinet or Cisco ASA-equivalent feature set at a significantly lower hardware acquisition cost — common entry point for small offices that previously operated with no dedicated network security appliance.
We begin with a network diagram showing the physical topology — switch locations, uplink paths, AP mounting positions, and cabling routes. VLAN architecture is designed to separate traffic types: corporate data, guest WiFi, IP camera management, VoIP, and server networks on separate VLANs with appropriate inter-VLAN routing policies. This design document is reviewed before any equipment is ordered, ensuring the deployment meets both current requirements and can accommodate future growth.
Structured cabling (Cat6 or Cat6A) from comms cabinet to each AP mounting position, IP camera location, and desk switch port. Ruijie core and distribution switches rack-mounted and cabled with labelled fibre or copper uplinks. PoE switches positioned to minimise cable runs to IP cameras and phones. All cable runs tested with Fluke tester for pass/fail on each pair at correct distance.
Ruijie switches configured with correct VLAN IDs, trunk ports between switches, and access port assignments per the network design. MSTP (multiple spanning tree) configured to prevent switching loops. Inter-VLAN routing configured on the Layer 3 core switch with ACLs between VLANs as required by the security policy. SNMP community strings set for network monitoring integration.
Ruijie Cloud account created and configured for your organisation. All switches and APs bound to the account. SSIDs created with correct VLAN associations — corporate SSID authenticating against Active Directory or RADIUS, guest SSID on isolated VLAN with internet access only. AP transmit power and channel width set appropriately for the installation density. RF survey performed post-deployment to verify coverage with no dead zones.
If deploying a Ruijie EG router with dual WAN (dual ISP or ISP + 4G/5G backup), WAN load balancing and failover configured and tested by simulating primary ISP failure. QoS policies applied to prioritise VoIP traffic and video conferencing over background bulk downloads. DNS and DHCP configured per network design. VPN tunnels to remote branches or cloud infrastructure configured if required.
Cisco Catalyst switches deliver excellent performance and have the deepest feature set in enterprise networking. But for many Dubai businesses — a 30-person office, a retail outlet, a school, or a hotel — the enterprise features that justify Cisco's premium are never used, and the budget difference is substantial. Ruijie delivers the managed switching, VLAN segmentation, QoS, and PoE+ that these environments actually need, at a cost that is defensible in a capital expenditure approval process.
We deploy both. If your requirements justify Cisco, we'll tell you. If Ruijie meets the need and saves 40% of the network infrastructure budget, we'll tell you that too.
Reyee Wi-Fi 6 APs delivering guest WiFi to rooms and public areas. Guest SSID on isolated VLAN — no access to hotel back-office network. Seamless roaming between APs for guests moving through the property. Ruijie Cloud managed centrally by hotel IT or remotely by SAS.
High-density Reyee APs for classrooms handling 30+ devices per room. Student SSID with content filtering policies. Staff SSID with full network access. Ruijie core switching with MSTP for loop-free resilient campus network. Ruijie Cloud for zero-touch AP provisioning across multiple buildings.
