We install and configure TP-Link Omada business WiFi, managed switches, VPN routers, and complete SMB network infrastructure across Dubai and the UAE — reliable, cloud-manageable, and cost-effective networking for growing businesses.
TP-Link's Omada SDN (Software Defined Networking) platform brings cloud-managed enterprise networking to small and medium businesses at significantly lower cost than traditional enterprise vendors. In Dubai, TP-Link Omada is the most popular business-grade WiFi and networking platform among SMBs, accounting firms, small clinics, retail chains, and service businesses that need reliable multi-device WiFi without the complexity or cost of Cisco or full Ubiquiti UniFi deployments.
The Omada product range includes WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E access points, smart and managed switches, VPN routers with hardware failover, and a cloud controller available free of charge — making it an ideal platform for Dubai businesses that want professional networking without ongoing licensing fees.
EAP series ceiling-mount APs for offices and retail. Outdoor APs for courtyards, car parks, and building exteriors. WiFi 6 (802.11ax) models for high-density environments with many connected devices. PoE-powered, managed through Omada controller for consistent roaming across all APs.
TL-SG series managed and smart switches from 8 to 48 ports, PoE and non-PoE variants. Full 802.1Q VLAN support, QoS, RSTP, and link aggregation. PoE budget up to 500W on select models for powering access points and IP phones from the switch directly.
ER series routers with multi-WAN load balancing and failover, hardware VPN (OpenVPN, IPSec, L2TP), and integrated firewall. Fail-to-4G failover using compatible 4G USB modems. Essential for Dubai businesses that cannot afford internet outages.
Free cloud-based controller managing all Omada devices from a single dashboard — no per-device subscription. Site management, SSID configuration, VLAN assignment, captive portal, and traffic analytics all in one place. Mobile app for remote management on the go.
Dedicated hardware controller appliance for companies preferring on-premise management without running a separate server. Plugs into your network and manages all Omada devices locally — no cloud dependency required for day-to-day operation.
Beyond Omada, TP-Link TL-series unmanaged switches and SG-series smart switches for secondary distribution, patch panels, and simple connectivity tasks. Widely stocked locally in Dubai for quick replacement availability.
We calculate the correct number of access points based on your floor area, ceiling height, wall construction (drywalls attenuate less than concrete partition walls, which are common in Dubai office fitouts), and the number of concurrent users. An open-plan 300m² office with concrete column walls typically needs 3–4 APs, not 1 router in the corner. We get this right before a single cable is pulled.
We design the switch stack and cabling layout — which switch powers which APs, where the router connects, and how VLANs segment across the network. A clear diagram is produced so you know exactly what you have and where everything is connected. All CAT6 cable runs terminated to EIA-568B standard, tested for continuity and length, and labelled at both ends.
Controller deployed on cloud (for remote access everywhere) or on local hardware controller. All devices adopted and named. SSIDs configured: corporate network with WPA2/WPA3, isolated guest WiFi, IoT network if needed. Band steering enabled so devices prefer the faster 5GHz band. Minimum RSSI thresholds set so devices roam to the next AP before the connection degrades rather than clinging to a distant AP.
For clients with multiple WAN connections or a primary fibre + backup 4G link, we configure the Omada router for automatic failover — if the fibre provider has an outage, traffic routes to the 4G backup with zero manual intervention. VPN configured for any staff working from home or remote offices needing secure access to internal resources.
Many Dubai small businesses are running their office network on a consumer ISP-supplied router or a consumer-grade TP-Link home router. These devices work adequately for 2–3 users but degrade significantly with 10+ connected devices, do not support VLAN segmentation, have no roaming capability if there's more than one WiFi device, and cannot be centrally managed remotely.
A TP-Link Omada business deployment using EAP access points, a managed switch, and an ER router costs modestly more than upgrading to another consumer device — but performs at a completely different level and is maintainable remotely without an on-site visit for most changes.
1–3 EAP APs, 1 smart switch, 1 ER router. Staff + guest SSID separation. Remote management by SAS team for quick support without site visit.
Isolated guest WiFi with captive portal splash page. POS terminal on dedicated VLAN. Multi-branch management through single Omada cloud account.
Clinical system VLAN separated from patient WiFi. WPA3 encryption. VPN for remote EMR access by clinicians. Failover to 4G if primary ISP goes down.
Seamless WiFi coverage across large open floor plates. Guest WiFi for customer demos. Staff devices on secure internal network. Easy expansion as showroom grows.
Per-floor AP coverage with consistent roaming. Guest portal with T&C. Bandwidth policy per SSID. Separate back-of-house staff network for PMS and POS systems.
Temporary deployments with 4G WAN. Omada controller manages site office APs. VPN back to head office. Easy teardown and redeploy at the next project.
