Lexco Structured Cabling — UAE Local Brand Dubai

Lexco is a UAE-based structured cabling brand supplying Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber cabling products through local distribution in Dubai and across the Emirates. We incorporate Lexco cabling products into structured cabling installations for clients who require locally-sourced, UAE-stocked infrastructure components with competitive lead times and pricing.

Lexco — UAE Structured Cabling with Local Supply & Support

In Dubai's competitive IT infrastructure market, product availability and lead times matter as much as specifications. International cabling brands like Belden and Corning deliver exceptional performance and come with comprehensive warranties, but they operate through multi-tier distribution chains that can extend lead times for specialised products. Lexco, as a UAE-based structured cabling brand with products warehoused locally, addresses this gap — providing Cat6 and Cat6A copper cabling and cabling accessories available off-the-shelf from local distributors across Dubai, with same-day or next-day delivery for most standard products.

For projects where cost efficiency and local availability are the primary drivers — SMB office cabling, residential fit-outs, secondary infrastructure runs, and warranty replacement stock — Lexco products offer a practical solution. We specify Lexco where the project brief calls for locally-sourced UAE products, and pair them with correctly specified patch panels, keystone jacks, and termination accessories to ensure a properly performing end-to-end structured cabling system that passes certification testing.

Lexco Cabling Products We Supply & Install

Lexco Cat6 UTP Cable

Lexco Cat6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) 4-pair data cable meeting TIA-568-C.2 Cat6 standard — supporting Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and 10GBASE-T up to 55m. 23AWG solid conductor. Available in grey, blue, white, yellow, and red PVC jacket options for colour-coded cabling installations. 305m pull-box and 500m drum formats. The standard specification for office and commercial cabling projects across Dubai where shielding is not required.

Lexco Cat6A UTP/FTP Cable

Lexco Cat6A cable supporting full 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) to 100m — meeting TIA-568-C.2 Category 6A performance standard with Alien Crosstalk (ANEXT) specification. Available in UTP and FTP (foiled) variants. Required for any installation where 10GbE to the desktop is specified, or where future-proofing against network speed upgrade is a project requirement. Increasingly the minimum specification for new Dubai office cabling projects.

Lexco Patch Panels

Lexco 24-port and 48-port Cat6 and Cat6A patch panels for rack installation in comms cabinets. 110-punch down type or keystone module loaded. Rear wire management fingers included. Available in 1U (24-port) and 2U (48-port) rack unit heights. All ports numbered and colour-coded for port identification. Matched to Lexco cabling for a complete Lexco-certified end-to-end solution, or used alongside other brand cabling as a cost-effective passive patch panel in the comms cabinet.

Lexco Keystone Jacks & Face Plates

Lexco Cat6 and Cat6A keystone jack modules for wall outlet installation — to UK (86mm), European (80mm), and US (Decora) face plate standards. 180° and 90° (angled) variants. T568A and T568B wiring scheme. Face plates in white, ivory, and grey with 1-, 2-, 4-, and 6-port configurations. Matching cable management accessories — single and double cable tidies, blanking plates — for a complete Lexco outlet installation matching office interior finish requirements.

Lexco Patch Cables

Lexco Cat6 and Cat6A factory-terminated patch cables in 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 3m, 5m, and 7m lengths. Standard RJ45 and slim boot variants. Available in all standard colours for colour-coded port management in the comms cabinet. Factory crimped and individually tested — each patch cable certified to pass channel-level performance requirements, eliminating the variability of site-crimped patch cables.

Lexco Cable Management Accessories

Lexco cable trunking (PVC dado rail and surface trunking), cable ties, cable labels, patch cable organisers, and rack accessories — the complete range of cabling accessories required for a professionally finished structured cabling installation. UAE-stocked for immediate availability. Consistent Lexco accessory procurement reduces the procurement complexity of sourcing accessories from multiple suppliers for a single project.

Structured Cabling Installation with Lexco Products

Site Survey & Cable Count

Every structured cabling project begins with a site survey: floor plan review, identification of all data outlet positions, cable routing paths from each outlet to the comms cabinet, measurement of cable runs (to verify all runs are within the 90m permanent link limit), and identification of any special routing requirements — through fire-rated walls, into floor boxes, or through existing containment systems.

Cable Installation & Containment

Lexco Cat6 or Cat6A cable drawn through PVC conduit, metal trunking, or cable trays from the comms cabinet to each outlet position. All cable runs installed with the minimum bend radius maintained (4x cable diameter for Cat6, 8x for Cat6A). Cables grouped and bundled cleanly in the comms cabinet with each run labelled at both ends using consistent numerical labelling matching the patch panel port numbers and wall outlet labels.

Termination & Patch Panel Installation

Cables punched down on the Lexco patch panel in the comms cabinet and on the Lexco keystone jacks at wall outlets. All terminations follow T568B colour coding standard. Patch panel installed in the comms cabinet with rear cable management. Wall outlets installed in back boxes with face plates and icon labels indicating data, voice, or AV service per port.

Certification Testing

Every completed structured cabling installation is tested with a Fluke DTX CableAnalyser or equivalent — testing for wiremap (correct pin-to-pin continuity and no shorts or split pairs), length (confirming within 90m), insertion loss, return loss, NEXT, and ELFEXT parameters. Pass/fail results per TIA-568 Cat6 or Cat6A standard produced as a test report for handover. Any fail results investigated and the cause corrected before re-testing.

Why Local Brand Matters in Dubai's Construction Market

On large Dubai fit-out projects with tight programme timelines, waiting 3–4 weeks for an international branded cabling order to arrive through distribution can delay an entire network installation — pushing back furniture installation, IT equipment delivery, and handover dates. Lexco products available locally from Dubai-based distributors can be ordered and delivered within 24–48 hours for most standard products.

For clients with strict brand or quality requirements, we also supply Belden, Corning, Panduit, and other international specification-grade cabling — at appropriately longer lead times and cost. The right brand choice depends on the project specification requirements, timeline, and budget.
